Seaside villa, Sainte-Maxime

This contemporary villa located in Sainte-Maxime enjoys an exceptional setting with views of the Mediterranean. We were commissioned for a complete renovation of this seaside house, aiming to modernize the spaces, enhance comfort, and fully showcase its unique location.​

The story behind the project​

This full renovation of a villa in Sainte-Maxime was driven by a central challenge: adapting the entire project to the specific seaside constraints,

particularly regarding materials, waterproofing, and exposure to wind and salt.

We created a new garage and converted the old one into an independent studio. An elevated terrace with sea views was added, overlooking a 

garden-level apartment. Inside, load-bearing walls were opened up to create an open-plan layout featuring a large central kitchen, designed as 

the heart of the project.

Large sliding glass doors were installed to maximize natural light and take full advantage of the view, while ensuring thermal efficiency and resistance 

to sea spray. The roof was completely redone with enhanced insulation and discreetly integrated reversible air conditioning. Finally, we reworked 

all the outdoor areas: renovating the salt-filtered pool, fully redesigning the garden, creating new terraces, and installing a modern, secure gate.
